FILTRO DESHIDRATADOR:

Un dispositivo que contiene desecante filtrante para remover la humedad y otros contaminantes de un sistema de refrigeración.

Un filtro deshidratador esta compuesto internamente por elementos de materia desecante como lo es sílice o hidróxido de aluminio.

FUNCIONES DEL FILTRO DESHIDRATADOR:

1)   Filtrar o detener cualquier impureza que se haya introducido al sistema con el fin de evitar que el tubo capilar sea obstruido de ahí que su posición deba ser antes del restrictor para cumplir esta función el filtro esta provisto de una malla a la entrada en forma a la entrada en forma cilíndrica y otra malla a la salida en forma circular.

2)   Remover la humedad del sistema de refrigeración, su posición que es en a línea liquida o sea enseguida del condensador hace que el material desecante actué mas rápido absorbiendo la humedad que se haya quedado dentro del sistema siempre y cuando la cantidad de humedad no sea superior a la que esta sustancia sea capaz de absorber

PROPIEDADES DEL MATERIAL DESECANTE:

-       Reducir el contenido de humedad del refrigerante.

-     Actuar rápidamente para reducir la humedad en un paso de refrigerante a través de la unidad de secado.

-       Soportar aumentos de temperatura hasta de 70 grados centígrados sin que se altere su eficiencia.

-       Ser inerte químicamente al aceite.

-       Permanecer insoluble, no debe disolverse con ningún liquido.

-       Permanecer en su condición solida original.

-       Permitir el flujo uniforme del refrigerante a través de los gránulos, bolitas o bloque con una baja restricción o caída de presión del refrigerante.

DRIER:

A filter device containing desiccant to remove moisture and other contaminants from a refrigeration system.

FEATURES OF DRIER:

- Stay insoluble, do not dissolve in liquid.

- Remain solid in its original condition.

- Allow uniform coolant through the granules, pellets or block with a low restriction or pressure drop of the coolant flow.
